Rich in history and character, The Washington in downtown New Haven, CT has been restored by The Hurley Group.
The beauty of the ornate brick and masonry facade is matched by the style of the loft style studio and one-bedroom residences. Each attractively designed residence feature unique architectural details, including designer wood floors, tall ceilings, and large windows.
Viking Kitchens focused on finishing the fully equipped gourmet kitchens, maximizing available light from the windows with with white quartz countertops and islands. For cabinets, we installed Siteline’s Dyson flat cut doors in Red Oak with Thicket finish to add a modern design touch.
Bathroom surfaces are Zodiaq London Sky.
We also finished the lower level common area with a kitchen in keeping with the building’s style.
The results are visually stunning. And all restorations meet or exceed the guidelines set by the U.S. Parks Service standards for historic buildings rehabilitation. Clearly, our work exceeded expectations, too:
“This was our first job with Viking Kitchens and it was a wonderful experience. The professionalism from Viking Kitchens and Dave Planeta was incredible…his installers were just terrific, his delivery team was terrific. Viking Kitchens is our first choice for future projects.”—Tom Picagli, The Hurley Group.
